We had been thinking about buying a home for a while, but we feared that real estate agents would take advantage of us for our lack of knowledge about real estate. This summer, we decided that we would start looking, because we didn't want to wait any longer. We met with a couple of real estate agents, and they seemed to be pushy and talked to us like we did not know anything about real estate, which we didn't, but at least I had read a lot about it. This left me to believe that none of the real estate agents are honest. However, when we met Phong, he seemed to be very patient—meaning he's not pushy like a few agents that we met before—he did not ask us to sign with him even after he showed us about 20 houses. We liked his approach of serving inexperience (first time home buyers) like us. He was not just showing us the home, but he also helped to point out potential problems with the homes that we were not looking at. That made us trust him and choosing him to be our real estate agent. We then found our first house, which we liked, but there was a minor issue with the deck—the deck was a little rotten and he was willing to pay a contractor to fix up the deck. We then bought our first home with Phong and the experience was great. We recommend everyone to have Phong as their real estate agent whether you are first time home buyer or not.

Phong was a pleasure to work with. He showed us a variety of properties so we would understand what was on the market. Phong made himself available whenever we needed him to show us homes. Sometimes without very much notice. He wasn't pushy at all. We made our purchase on our timeframe without any pressure. If it wasn't for Phong, we would still be looking for a home now.
